Sample – part one

Well I have had a busy old time recently, what with home and the business.  There never seems to be enough hours in a day for me just lately.  I expect you all know how that feels though.  I am currently looking to bring in some items from the USA that will help quilters and sewers alike.  This is still all in the pipeline at the moment and when I have got a it further on with the details I will let you know.

I am also looking to have my own line of longarm quilting accessories produced and have had meetings with a company that is going to produce them for me.  So you can see I may not have been doing much on here, but like the proverbial swan, there has been a lot going on in the background.

I have not been idle in the studio either, I have made a little cot quilt with a fleecy back that is really cuddly.

I am also in the process of producing three sample quilts that are to be displayed in shops that want to show customers how having their tops longarmed can enhance all the hard work that goes into making them.

This is the first ‘block’ of the first quilt nearly finished.

It is still wet in this picture, hence the mottled look at the moment.  The other mock blocks will show a variety of other fills and patterns that can be used and include a motif or two as well.

I hope this finds you all well and looking forward to the spring which seems to be coming quickly around here with crocus and snow drops popping up all around.

Until next time, happy quilting.
