It seems sooo long since I last posted and there has been so much happening between the last one and this one, that I don’t really know where to begin. I have been getting the website sorted out and populated with some of the things that I will be selling on there. Some of these I have had to import in their entirety, some of them I have brought in the components and had them made up here in the UK by a very skilled local craftsman. I am still working on bringing in other things and having the longarm rulers produced. And of course I have still been quilting both customer quilts and my own. I am currently in the process of preparing one that will be entered in the Festival of Quilts later on in the year. So you can see, I have been quiet but not idle.
So lots done but what exactly does it all look like. Well today I will start by reviewing some of the details in the last post. Over the next few days I will bring you up to date with everything else.
The Ultimate Marking Pencils have arrived and are now on sale on the web site. They are great to use, not only for quilting but for crafting and general sewing. It irons away without any trouble and if you want a finer point you can sharpen it just like any other pencil. It comes in is own protective case so you can carry it to all your classes with ease.
One of the things that I am most excited about, especially as it is a bit of bling that all we girly crafters need in our sewing box, and that is the new seam rippers I have had made. They are gorgeous and I have had sets made with both pencils, and pens so that you can really show off at the classes.
There are lots of different ones on the site, including wooden ones, and I am having wooden ones made with larger handles for those who have difficulty holding them. They are all ergonomically shaped to make handling so much easier than those cheap plastic skinny ones. The pens come in either ball point, roller ball, or ink. The ink pen is really cool as you can convert it so easily from a cartridge pen to bottle ink.
There will soon be more of them going on the site so do keep a look out for them. They make excellent gifts for the crafter that seems to have everything.
Over the next few days I will bring you up to date with some of the other things that have been happening and I might even let you have a sneak peak at the plans for the competition quilt. I will also let you see a couple of the most recent customer quilts and give you an insight into what its like to be interviewed for an article in the local newspaper. Some of you will have seen the results of that, others of you may not so I might just post you a link so that you can see it yourself. Until then, take care out there and keep on quilting.

Love my seam ripper, thank you, I will need to order some more soon for presents. Having seen the purple and gold one, I thought I might need a spare one too ….
